Product Description

Knives are not toys and treating them as such will cause damage.

Automatic OTF and Switchblade Knives are not designed to open and close repeatedly over and over for no reason at all.

They are meant to open, then to use, and then finally to close.

It is a tool and abusing them will cause stress on springs and cause them to heat up and break if stressed past their designs.

If you feel the need to open and close things use a door not a knife.

Knives with springs will end up breaking with such childish behavior.

It is a problem and is commonly referred to as CLICK THERAPY that you have to open and close things repeatedly till you break things.

If you suffer from this disorder do not order anything and purchase a buzzer or bell instead.

OTF knives, that is the Out The Front models, man, these are such a problem this is the reason why so many knife companies put tamper proof screws on things.  They are such temperamental knives to begin with.  So you have rapid fired your knife while sitting in your arm chair watching MacGyver and wam bam the spring broke! THIS WAS YOUR FAULT not OURS! And, We know because the spring changes color to a rainbow ( LOSS OF TEMPER) when its heated up from rapid firing your OTF. That grey color is gone and that is the clue. IF your OTF is returned and we find a rainbow color "We will not fix it or replace it...

The ANSWER IS: I'LL say it again; Automatic OTF and Switchblade Knives are not designed to open and close repeatedly over and over for no reason at all.

Knives are tools that are indispensable companions in our daily living and they also are investments. These reasons are why they should be cared for properly. Well-maintained knives will perform better, last longer, and provide the owner years and years of satisfaction.  Do not use the cutting blade as a can opener, chisel, pry bar, screwdriver or for any heavy work for which your knife was not designed. Also, don't use the back of your knife as a hammer. It may break the springs, handles or pins.
